Your Role

 

AirDNA is looking for a driven, ambitious and capable DevOps Engineer to support and expand our cloud-based infrastructure supporting our industry leading short term rental analytics platform. The AirDNA infrastructure currently processes billions of data points and hosts databases well into terabyte-size ranges, making this an interesting and challenging opportunity.

Here’s what you’ll get to do:

 

  • Continuously advance our multi-cloud production environment (we use both AWS and GCP)
  • Manage and improve our deployment pipelines
  • Provide data monitoring and metrics as a service to all systems
  • Provide support and guidance around our data processing systems, such as Spark and Snowflake
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve performance of all systems
  • Develop and enforce security best practices
  • Set standards and best practices for the organization
  • Grow our expertise and use of kubernetes

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful: 

 

  • 5+ years of experience working in DevOps
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS 
  • Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD 
  • Scripting / development experience
  • Git experience
  • Strong understanding of Infosec concepts and practices
  • Experience in any of the following is a plus: GCP, CircleCI, Python / Golang, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka
