Your Role – Inspirational Leader Biased to Action

You are a strong team leader who can oversee distributed team of content strategists, internal and external design resources, and PR. You cut your teeth by writing compelling copy, and developing digital conversion funnels that work. You have extensive experience using email, SEO and PR to drive inbound leads while keeping CAC low.

You will solidify our brand voice for disparate user sets. You will leverage that voice and extensive industry research to own the conversation around short-term rentals. You love building relationships, even those across the aisle, to ensure AirDNA’s continued relevance and contribution to short-term rental conversations.

You can spot short-term opportunities and lay the foundation for longer-term success. You can geek out on data to know whether the initiatives and content that your team is creating are bearing fruit and delivering against your quarterly metrics. You have a little black book of creatives, partners and friendlies that you can call on to help bring your vision to life.

This is a unique opportunity to get in early at a young profitable company to work on solving novel challenges in a rapidly growing industry.

Here’s what you’ll get to do:

  • Own AirDNA’s overall brand presence, and shift the conversation from data provider to thought leader

  • Manage a team of content strategists and product marketers to develop relevant, weekly educational content to drive inbound leads and move folks through conversion funnel

  • Work with external partners and agencies to create design assets that embody the AirDNA brand and help our direct and B2B sales teams convert

  • Anticipate upcoming product and marketing needs based on company roadmap, and use roadmap to guide content opportunities

  • Oversee the integrity of the data used in our marketing efforts, from conference presentations to pitches to high value publications

  • Effectively communicate strategic choices and direction to multiple stakeholders with research, marketing best practices and objective facts

  • Ensure message consistency across SEO, ecommerce, PR, paid media, and our SaaS products

 

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

  • Deep experience with SEO, PR and e-mail automation, at least 5-10 years in this area

  • Ability to support and drive productivity from distributed teams, while balancing competing priorities

  • Have worked with both product and marketing teams at a startup or agency

  • Have experience working with in-house and agency teams to develop creative assets

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Are comfortable with taking partial requirements and developing your own action plan to deliver against them

  • Have strong copywriting and communication skills

  • Comfortable-to-proficient in WordPress, HTML, CSS, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Illustrator, and Photoshop

  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Ability to give & take feedback respectfully.

  • Are self-driven and autonomous, but work well collaborating across teams

  • Have a creative and analytical approach to problem solving—we love data

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
