As spring break planning heats up, travelers are booking short-term rentals in sun-soaked U.S. destinations at record pace. According to AirDNA, six of the top ten markets for March 2026 are in Florida, led by Orlando with over 400,000 booked nights. Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Cape Coral/Fort Myers are also seeing strong domestic demand, even amid a decline in Canadian travel. Phoenix/Scottsdale, Los Angeles, and Maui round out a list dominated by warm-weather escapes. AirDNA economist Bram Gallagher notes that this March is tracking as the busiest month so far in 2026, signaling a robust season for vacation rentals.

This upcoming spring break, the places that are filling up the fastest are on the west coast of the Florida peninsula.
