AirDNA has unveiled a new short-term rental tracker focused on the 2026 FIFA World Cup, offering the earliest view yet into booking activity across all 16 host cities. The dashboard, updated weekly starting December 1, tracks trends in demand, rates, and supply as the tournament nears. Early standouts include Guadalajara, Vancouver, and Monterrey, which are already seeing signs of increased bookings. AirDNA chief economist Jamie Lane says bookings could “double or triple” after the December 5 team draw and expects a sharp rise in listings, similar to the 45% surge seen ahead of the Paris Olympics.
